* Use the Ethernet-Mux in a clean working environment.
* Don't let the Ethernet-Mux get in contact with water or coffee.
* To use the internal GPIO-based control interfaces some modifications,
  including disassembly and soldering, to the device are required.
  The person performing these modifications should be trained in
  performing these tasks. Modifications to the Ethernet-Mux performed in a
  non-\ :term:`ESD`\ -protected environment may cause damage to the device.
