   ADC
     Analog to Digital Converter -
     An electrical device that converts analog physical measurements to digital values.
     The physical measurement is often assumed to be a voltage.

   API
     Application Programming Interface -
     An interface between software components.

   DUT
     Device under Test -
     A DUT is a product or system undergoing a test.
     The test is performed by the devices connected to the DUT.
     In the context of this manual the LXA TAC is a considered part of the
     test-system and the LXA TAC is intended to be connected to the DUT.

   PCB
     Printed Circuit Board -
     A part of an electrical assembly providing physical support and electrical
     connections to other components.
