Our Code of Conduct

Where do we come from?

Linux Automation GmbH was founded in 2019 with the aim of developing, manufacturing and distributing electronics around the use of embedded Linux. Inspired by the needs of embedded Linux developers at Pengutronix, our goal is to simplify and support software development for embedded systems.

What is important to us?

Our employees come from the open source community. We are convinced that the best way to overcome challenges is to work together and learn from each other. We want to help shape a future worth living. We believe in the rule of law, the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Nations Charter and the principle of energy conservation.

How do we put this into practice?

With our product portfolio, we want to achieve that (critical) IT systems can be automatically tested and permanently supplied with system updates. In this way, we want to contribute to the long-term use of IT and OT systems. We create the possibility for our customers to make their systems resilient and to counteract the throwaway society.

We follow the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct to ensure safe, fair, environmentally responsible and ethical working conditions.

As far as possible, we rely on production sites in Germany and on renewable energies. Every device we sell is tested by us for its function.
